Dr. Michael Alan Knight, DDS
Dr. Knight was born and raised in Eastman, Georgia. He graduated high school from Dodge County High School in 1980. He attended Middle Georgia College, and later graduated from the University of Georgia in 1984 with a bachelor degree in psychology. He entered dental school in 1984 at Emory University. As Emory's last graduating dental class, Dr. Knight graduated first clinically in his class in 1988. He began his own solo practice in Eastman shortly after that.
Dr. Knight was a community dentist for over 25 years before taking a short retirement in 2016. In 2017, he began his own dental office chain branded American Dental of Georgia. In 2018, his son, Michael, joined the company to fulfill a life long dream of working together. To date, American Dental now encompasses two other dental companies and five offices, with Eastman being the fifth addition. In 2019, he was appointed to the Georgia Board of Dentistry by Governor Brian Kemp.
Dr. Knight's dental experience is vast with a particular emphasis on implants, IV sedation, exodontia, and orthodontic procedures including Invisalign.
Dr. Knight is a family man who enjoys spending time with each member of his family. He enjoys working on his farm and cattle farming with his youngest son, Thomas.

From her formative years at the Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology, where she excelled academically, to her time at Emory University, Dr. Bahar has always been driven by a thirst for knowledge and a desire to make a positive impact. At Emory, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature, demonstrating her multifaceted interests and her ability to excel in diverse fields.
As a first-generation college graduate, Dr. Bahar's achievements were recognized with prestigious scholarships, including the National Coca-Cola Scholarship, the QuestBridge Scholarship, and the Emory Scholarship. These accolades underscore her exceptional academic prowess and her unwavering commitment to excellence.
Driven by her passion for helping others and her desire to make a difference in people's lives, Dr. Bahar pursued her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at The Dental College of Georgia. After earning her degree in 2022, she embarked on her professional journey, establishing herself as a trusted dental practitioner at American Dental of Fitzgerald, where she ran a solo practice, providing high-quality care to her patients.
Today, Dr. Bahar continues to uphold her commitment to excellence and patient-centered care as a valued member of Knight Family Dentistry, where she practices alongside Dr. Mike Knight, Sr. With her expertise in both general and advanced procedures of dentistry, including clear-aligner therapy, surgical extractions, implant dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Bahar is dedicated to helping her patients achieve optimal oral health and beautiful smiles. Her dedication to staying at the forefront of advancements in dentistry is evident through her active involvement in professional organizations such as the American Dental Association and the Georgia Dental Association.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Bahar enjoys spending quality time with her fiance Ryan, engaging in weightlifting to stay active and healthy, and indulging her love for literature by participating in her book club. Her multifaceted interests and her genuine care for her patients make Dr. Bahar Jalalian a cherished member of the dental community and a trusted healthcare provider in Eastman and beyond.
Dr. Helen Ho, DMD
Dr. Helen Ho, DMD, is a compassionate and skilled dentist committed to delivering the highest quality care to her patients. Graduating with distinction in research for her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from The Dental College of Georgia, Dr. Helen stays at the forefront of modern dental advancements to ensure that each patient receives the most up-to-date treatments. She has also been honored with the United States Public Health Service’s (USPHS) Dental Award of Excellence and recognized by the USPHS Chief Dental Officer, underscoring her dedication to comprehensive, community-centered care.
While in dental school, Dr. Helen worked extensively with Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery programs across the United States, including hands-on experience in hospital and outpatient settings. Her dedication to oral surgery in school has led her to be awarded the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Dental Student Award. She continues to engage in training for advancements and performing advanced surgical procedures, including extractions and implants.
With experience leading a dental practice as a solo doctor, Dr. Helen is a detail-oriented practitioner, passionate about providing top-tier general and cosmetic dentistry. Above all, she is deeply dedicated to serving her community with care, compassion, and a commitment to improving her patients' oral health and overall well-being.
